The North Cave Annual Gala 2007 was a major success. Kick off was the Herbs on Friday, 22nd June, followed by a more classical night on the 23rd. The Herbs were excellent, everyone danced the night away. The Saturday was extremely good, all three acts deserving high praise. On a more personal note, Lesley was absolutely brilliant (picture next row down on the left). What a voice!

We really musn't 'under sing' the praises of the Albermarle Quartet and North Ferriby Ladies Choir who gave sterling performances (twice)! Both very impressive and you could hear a pin drop in the marquee...

Sunday was the Gala proper.   

In the main it rained when it wasn't too important. The Hull Trinity House Drum Core did have to do a set in the Marquee which wasn't planned. It was quite loud. 

The Irish dancers, UNIVERSALLY, went down a storm (please excuse the allusion).

We've been asked by a large number of people to do the same again next year. It took a lot of effort by, in the main, a small number of people to get this one together. They're thinking about it but the answer may well be 'OK'. If anyone else would like to pitch in, please say so. There are meetings every month.

ALL proceeds have gone to the North Cave area community.
