| History |
Short term development contracts. This is where the company makes most of its money. We take on specific projects, design and develop the application, install, train and document. Listed below are some of our previous projects. You'll notice that we've done a lot of work for the Police lately. We also have our own finished products such as 'Control Room'. This generic work flow control application can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements. |

Management of Police Information (MoPI) |
| Bringing together over 24 different systems, on various database servers (MS SQL Server, Oracle and Reality), into one unified interface for the purpose of matching and cleansing data, reviewing and, where appropriate, disposing of it. The requirement came from the Bichard report into the Soham murders and we have been working with one of the few forces in the country to achieve compliance. The solution, based on an original concept by another force, was praised in an article in the Police Professional magazine, August 2010, by the Deputy Chief Constable, for its contribution to the protection of the public. | |
CRB Disclosures (Checkmate) |
| An application for automating much of the CRB checking process. Each day numerous requests are received to check on the suitability of people to hold positions of trust. Checkmate automatically performs multiple checks across all the important databases, looking for potential matches, then lists the results for an officer to make decisions. This application has played a major part in keeping this force at, or near, the top of the performance tables. | |
Intelligence |
| Introduced as a 'stop gap' measure to move from written intelligence pages to computerised intelligence submissions, whilst a comprehensive new system was selected and introduced, this application was a great success with the front line officers and intelligence unit staff. It was written with much involvement from the people who were going to use it, and credit should go to those officers and staff within the Police who made it happen. | |

Road Traffic Collisions (Acorn) |
| Linking into the Command and Control system, Acorn records collisions then logs the process followed thereafter. A big part these days, is communication, keeping people informed, letting them know of outcomes. This is what Acorn does. | |
Control Room |
| A development sold to several companies primarily for the control of the process of card terminal collections. This has been expanded into processing the sale and shipping of consumables. RoomR is redeveloping this product for use via the Internet. | |
Fulfilment for PayPoint |
| A 'just in time' system for PayPoint merchants. Using the number of transactions on the terminal, the system calculates when the merchant will need another box of till rolls, and despatches it. This system was expanded to handle the distribution of advertising and other material for the launch of the London conjestion charging system. | |

Other developments |
| There have been a significant number of other developments over the years for companies such as ITW Highland, a car parts manufacturer in the Midlands, and Fortoak in Leicestershire. We have delivered many versions of Control Room to Transaction Network Services in Sheffield. Previous customers include Barclaycard and DHL. We have another software product, LSMidi, which controls stage lighting although currently, the only users are ourselves. |
